Well, only a select few really know that I LOVE reading.  I could spend hours upon hours just losing myself in a romance novel.  I love them all.  It could be trashy, sentimental, sweet, erotic, heart-breaking, bittersweet, and I'd still devour it.  I just can't abide horribly written ones, I mean--who does?  My favorite authors include THE Nora Roberts, Linda Howard, Christina Dodd, Katie MacAlister, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Anne Stuart, Christine Feehan, Johanna Lindsay, Iris Johansen, Julia Quinn.   Those are just a few.  I'd never PART with any of their books UNLESS they are just tortuously BAD.  You'd probably NEVER EVER SEE me part with a Nora Roberts book and rarely any other author I have listed because each and everyone of them kills a part of me.  My cynical part :-) You see, I read romance because I know deep down that love--the lasting kind--will likely skip most of us.  By reading romance, I indulge my sentimental streak.  So that when I wake up and face another dreary morning, I could say that last night I was someones queen, mother, lover, sister, wife. That I had for a brief moment savoured the lips of my prince--or better yet with my taste..the beast.  It keeps a girl perky, you know?        Most of the books in my collection have a 3 to 5 star rating in amazon.  UNLESS it's one of my BC books (BC- Before Computers) These days, I usually check up on a book before I go and buy them.  I rarely settle for a 3.  I don't know how I ever survived without my book review sites!  I'd probably go stark raving mad reading all kinds of trash.     I do like to talk---if you haven't noticed?     Haha I hope I meet aLOT of my fellow readers and swappers! I'd love to do business with anyone!
